Texture filament is not a “normal PLA in a different colour”.

Unlike standard PLA, PLA Texture incorporates particles or variations in its composition that create an irregular, matte effect, hiding layer lines and significantly improving the final look of the part straight off the printer.

If you print in 3D you know that the difference between a decent part and one that stands out lies in the finish, and that is where our PLA Texture sets itself apart.

It is a filament designed to give the part a different visual finish with the feel of a real material (stone, sand, concrete…).

This completely changes the end result with no need to sand, paint or post-process.

How to print PLA Texture

PLA Texture prints much like standard PLA, but with a few adjustments to get the best finish:

• Temperature: 190–230 ºC.
• Bed: 50–70 ºC.
• Speed: medium (40–60 mm/s).
• Retraction: standard PLA.
• Recommended nozzle:
  Minimum: 0.4 mm.
  Recommended: 0.6 mm for denser textures.
• Material: a hardened nozzle if the filament contains abrasive particles.
