Flexible TPE filament properties

Winkle’s TPE flexible filament is manufactured in Spain for 3D printers with FFF/FDM technology.

This filament is an elastomer plastic with properties different from traditional elastic materials.

The material used in the manufacture of the flexible TPE filament is a high-quality polymer that guarantees optimum adhesion in printing, as well as superior mechanical strength.

This means that objects printed with this filament will be durable and resistant.

Advantages of Winkle’s flexible TPE filament:

  • It is resistant to bending, tensile, compression, temperature and tearing in the layer direction.
  • The adhesion between layers is superior to conventional elastic materials, obtaining parts with a very versatile mechanical capacity.
  • It has a diameter of 1.75 mm.
  • It is available in natural color and comes in a 200g presentation.

Thanks to its exhaustive quality control, Winkle guarantees a constant diameter throughout the winding, something that will make your prints of much higher quality, avoiding jams in your machine.

Likewise, Winkle’s manufacturing process guarantees the absence of chemical impurities that can modify the physical, chemical and aesthetic properties of your product.

In order to preserve the properties of our TPE filament, it is shipped in a sealed bag to protect it from moisture and UV rays.

Properties:

  • It has high warping level so it is recommended to print in closed box, hot bed and use adherent.
  • High quality surface finish and gloss.
  • High tensile and compressive strength.
  • High impact resistance.
  • Filament traction should be as close as possible to the extruder.
    It is recommended to print at slow speeds.
