Standard PETG

Standard PETG Applications

An ideal filament for both professional and amateur 3D printers.

If you are looking for high performance, exceptional impact resistance and durability, this filament is your best choice.

In addition, this Standard PETG filament yarn has hydrophobic properties, so it can be used for gardening, aeroponics, hydroponics, etc.

A remarkable aspect of standard PETG is its high chemical resistance. This allows sanding, drilling, sawing, cutting and painting of the final result, without compromising the integrity of the entire structure of the object.

Our integrated system certified to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards guarantees that our processes are aimed at achieving maximum product quality and minimum environmental impact.

We care about the planet and the health of its inhabitants; our products comply with the demanding REACH regulation, which guarantees the absence of extremely worrying substances, and we are committed to the circular economy with the reduction of packaging and ECOEMBES management for the correct recycling and reuse of the same.

Long-lasting results!

On the other hand, this filament offers you very good layer adhesion.

In addition, Winkle’s thorough quality control provides a filament free of bubbles and obstructions. Its high precision and minimal shrinkage work together to prevent cracks and deformations.

You will notice a high-quality finish that can offer you different translucent shades, while others can be opaque with darker colors like black, gray, or silver.

Applications

This filament is especially suitable for:

  • Outdoor applications such as gardening.
  • Prototyping of parts.
  • Medical applications and prosthesis.
  • Decorative figures,
  • Lighting accessories.
  • Food industry.
  • Mechanical parts.

PETG strengths:

  • Offers higher flexural strength and improved impact resistance.
  • It shows low shrinkage and warping deformation, along with high chemical and thermal resistance.
  • Increased mechanical strength.
  • It also shows improved flexibility versus its counterparts such as ABS, PLA and even standard PET filament.
  • It is odorless.
  • It is a recyclable filament.

PETG properties:

  • Higher impact, flexural and temperature resistance compared to normal PLA.
  • Easy to print, almost the same as PLA, with good results and good adhesion between layers.
  • High outdoor resistance due to its water-repellent properties and UV resistance.

Printing parameters:

  • Printing temperature: 220 ºC – 240 ºC .
  • Bed temperature: 60 ºC – 80 ºC.
  • Recommended print speed: 50-70 mm/s
  • Closed chamber: Not mandatory
