We’re launching a new packaging!
Winkle’s reels will be shipped in a reusable bag to reduce waste and promote the circular economy.
After several months of preparation, Winkle is leaving aside cardboard boxes and will begin shipping the reels in a new hermetic zip-lock bag.
A sustainable packaging that can be given a new useful life and is much more respectful of the environment, while promoting the reduction of pollution and the importance of sustainable packaging. Winkle has always been a brand committed to sustainability, using biodegradable materials in the manufacture of filaments: corn starch, beetroot and wheat. It also has more than one hundred and ninety solar panels that supply its factory with energy and reduce its carbon footprint and carbon dioxide emissions. A commitment that the brand will continue to work towards in order to find a balance between customer satisfaction, economic development, environmental protection and social well-being.
Sustainable packaging for our filaments
Sustainable packaging is just the tip of the iceberg of a new economic model, based on the circular economy, which focuses on reducing pollution and repairing, recycling and reusing the product. This approach seeks to maximize the value of resources and minimize waste, which represents a significant change in the way we consume and produce goods and services.
