If you’ve just bought a 3D printer and don’t know which filament to buy, you’re in luck!
At Winkle we have the solution for all kinds of needs. In case you don’t know us, we are a national 3D filament factory. Our headquarters are in Salamanca and we have rigorous quality, production and shipping control so that each spool arrives in ideal conditions.
We have different types of materials such as: PETG, ASA, PLA-HD, PLA 870, PLA 850, TENAFLEX, ABS, and even recycled filament.
➡︎And with the best quality-price ratio on the market.
In addition, we are one of the 3 Spanish manufacturers with the greatest variety of color range in our 3D filament catalog, with no less than 47 different colors!
You can also choose between 6 types of spools, from 250 grams to 8 kilos.
3D Filament Colour Range
As you can see, at Winkle we adapt to your needs to offer you the best results in 3D printing.

Our packaging is custom-made

There is no other brand that has a perfect winding like ours. And as good manufacturers that we are (always thinking of everything), each of our 3D filament spools is vacuum-packed to prevent it from acquiring moisture and not losing quality of the filament, that is, zero deterioration!

Winkle Filament and Winkle Coil Packaging

In its corresponding box, of 300gr or 1kg, you will receive your coil perfectly vacuum-packed and ready to put your 3D printer to work.

How to choose the best filament for your 3D printer?

You have to choose the filament that best suits what you want to create. Each filament has unique characteristics and properties such as: hardness, flexibility, melting temperature, shrinkage, shock resistance, heat resistance, etc.
➡︎Make sure that the filament you choose is compatible with your 3D printer.
To determine which is the best filament for your 3D printer, you must know the properties and applications of each 3D filament. Below, we present the most commonly used ones:
PLA filament
Polylactic acid or PLA is the most commonly used filament in 3D printing. It is produced from natural materials such as corn starch, cassava and sugar cane, making it biodegradable and does not emit strong odors during printing. It is ideal for beginners due to its ease of use and low need for adjustments.
PLA is perfect for creating parts such as models and prototypes. However, it has low thermal and mechanical resistance, so it is not recommended for applications that require withstanding temperatures above 60 °C.

ABS Filament
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene or ABS is the second most popular filament. It is more robust, resistant and durable than PLA, allowing it to withstand high temperatures and allowing holes to be made in printed parts.
ABS can release toxic fumes during printing, so it is important to work in a well-ventilated area. It requires a heated bed at temperatures between 60 °C and 80 °C, and an extruder temperature of approximately 235 °C. It is crucial to maintain these conditions to prevent the part from cracking due to temperature changes.

PETG Filament
Polyethylene terephthalate glycol or PETG combines the best features of PLA and ABS. It is resistant, elastic and durable, with good tolerance to high temperatures. These properties make it suitable for the manufacture of objects that must withstand both high temperatures and pressures.

TPE Filaments
Known as flexible filaments, these materials stand out for their great elasticity, abrasion resistance and durability. In addition, they do not shrink when cooled. Due to their characteristics, they are ideal for manufacturing objects that require flexibility, such as phone cases, stamps and other items that need to be bent, stretched or compressed.
