Main characteristics of PLA Silk

This filament maintains the properties and advantages of standard PLA (easy shaping, no warping and low shrinkage).

Silk PLA has been enhanced with additional polymers that provide high light scattering and light reflection, creating the distinctive silky smooth finish, which brings a spectacular gloss and excellent level of detail to prints.

The intensity of this silky surface varies according to the print parameters, allowing you to adjust the visual appearance by reducing or increasing the print speed and temperature. With a lower speed you get a glossier surface.
