Winkle's Wood PLA Filament is an innovative and eco-friendly option for your 3D printing projects. It is still a biodegradable thermoplastic with natural wood fibers.

Main features of PLA Wood
With a unique composition of PLA and a percentage of natural wood fibers, this type of filament offers increased rigidity compared to standard PLA. On the other hand, its final finish is very authentic and has a rustic touch.
Winkle's wood filament is easy to print and does not require any special adjustments to your printer, except for the recommendation to use a 0.6 mm nozzle (minimum).
By using Wood filament, you can give your final piece the look, feel, and appearance of wood.
Properties of wood filament for 3D printers:
- Greater resistance to thermal deformation and greater dimensional stability.
- Flexibility: Low.
- Durability: Medium.
- Difficulty of use: Low.
- Printing temperature: 190°C – 220°C.
- Print bed temperature: 50 °C – 60 °C (recommended).
- Shrinkage/deformation: Minimal.
- Soluble: No.
Printing parameters:
- Printing temperature: 190 °C – 220 °C.
- Bed temperature: 50 °C – 60 °C.
- Recommended printing speed: 40-70 mm/s.
- We recommend using a nozzle of at least 0.6 mm.
Can I use PLA Wood in any 3D printer?
Wood filament is generally compatible with most printers that use 1.75 mm filaments.
However, it is important to check the printer specifications and adjust the printing temperature according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
